250cc RGV for sale Sun, 29 June 2003 12:17 Go to next message
Needing something faster than your mate and only have $2200 to spend???
Your answer is a 250cc RGV. The bike is a Pepsi rgv however it now has a new 2pak paint job on all the faring. The bike is in Brisbane and needs to be sold. All seriously interested parties please call Troy 0418 216 839 (bike owner) or email or PM me.
The bike has been modified and is basically a race bike with rego. Perfect for the weekend track racer or someone needing some excitement.

PLEASE NOTE:
This thing is not a toy! It will wheelstand as soon as the tacho hits 6,500rpm. These are the bikes that got the nickname "Kid Killers" and therefore there will be no tyre kicking test pilots allowed near it! Inexperienced riders should not consider buying this sort of bike. Genuine enquiries welcome.

Sorry i don't have any pics of the bike myself. It is kept at a bikeshop at the moment. I should be able to get a link to the shop which should have pics of it there.
I will also get some more info for people.

i dont think its ever been legal in nsw. wasnt there some statistic from some state saying something like males between the age of 17 and 24 who choose this as their first bike have a 100% chance of dying? alot of somethings there hehehe.

The power to weight ratio crteria only comes in on bikes with a larger displacement than 250 cubic centimeters up to 660. I think it is like 150kW per tonne.. or something along those lines. That is according to the nsw rta page.

Should have some info soon.

Smile
2 stroker!
Bikes like this and Nsr are race repilcans and are advised not to buy while your on your learners because alot of people on learners get hurt or killed.
But its not illegal to get ride them on your learners (well in victoria it aint and i think nsw too) because they're still 250cc.

Anyone looking for an rush of a ride, this is it, though becareful coz one slip and you gotta pray that no other cars are around or no kurb/wall.

Good luck with the sale.
