I doubt they'd be any for sale. Its basically either they come with the sunroof... Or they put an aftermarket sunroof in.
If anyone is fortunate to have a sunroof in their 86. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't part with it. I wouldn't
Maybe just get a sheet of metal and weld it in? They're not that big ...
Seriously though, is the sunroof really riddled with cancer? You'd be surprised at how good some panel beaters are at removing rust ...
Yeah I agree ... your chances of finding one in a scrapyard don't look good - have you tried calling Toyota yet? You'd probably pay through your nose for it though.
If its rusted up... or won't open smoothly it can be alot of things...
might be your motor died... might have surface rust around the seal.
might be your interior sunroof lining which has jammed it up.
but in that case... what i recommend is taking it out... hit it with some rust eater. yadda yadda.
give it a sand prime and spray. good to go. won't rust up again
if u'r after a sunroof. i have a r32 sunroof which should fit. i have the motor and console too.
The pickapart in Melbourne on the Hume Hwy opposite ford has two sprinters and the y both have factory sunroof. I would just weld up the damn hole but i hate my sunroof. The just let in water all the time and they usually cause the rear quarter to rust out because people dont clean the drain holes and the water collects in the bottom, Sorry about the rant.
