Celica Wiring Diagram Thu, 10 July 2003 04:47 Go to next message
Hey guys. My brother has asked me to ask if anyone knows where we could get a hold of a wiring diagram for the '88 Celica. We need it ASAP. Preferably today (10th). Can anyone help?? Thanks.

Are you sure? We have two different types on manuals for the car. Neither has a wiring diagram. Toyota dont like giving them out for some reason. I dont know what sort of manuals we have though.....

Every haynes, gregories and similar workshop manual that i have EVER read has had complete wiring diagrams supplied usually in the rear section of the book. Both haynes books i have read have the diagrams!

If Toyota didn't give out wiring diagrams, how the hell would anyone be able to da any work on the cars!?!?!

Fair enough. We'll have a look.

I just know that the two manuals we have both dont have the diagrams. Confused

Just found out from my brother that we already have that book. It does not have the cruise wiring diagram in it. Sad

Neither Hayes nor Chiltons have a diagram for the cruise. they have a diagram for TCCS with a small note about cruise WITH ABS on the 3sge, but nothing remotely helpful.

ok I phoned Penrif Toyota. they don't keep the manuals any more and don't have any in the workshop. The dude there was very nice but said basically, they can't help me, so this is where I am at:

Toyota for diagram = NO
Hayes = NO
Chilton = NO
Internet = NO
Auto Electrician = Wants diagram

can anyone help???? ahhhhhh

The only option I can think of now is to book it into a Toyota dealer and hope that they manage to produce a diagram and fix it....

Hi Rob,

Checkout this site in NZ.
This guy seems to know ST165/185/205 backwards.
He might have what you're looking 4 if you email him.
