Which cars have which sumps?
I know that the jzx81 and jzx90 have front sumps and the soarers have a rear sump. Which cars have mid sump motors?
Cheers

Soarer and JZA70 are actually mid/rear. Incidentally I priced a front sump for a jz from Toyota at $600 for the alloy and $300 for tin part, non turbo though so may need drilling for oil drains etc. Pickup would be extra too.

A true mid sump can be found on a 2JZGE out of a JZS141.

Hmm, my JZS147 was front sump. I wonder why they'd be so different?

Interestingly, the Crown Majesta has a front sump (like the Aristo) and the Crown Saloon/Royal has the midsump. The Crowns have a full chassis, usually with a very frontal bulkhead that joins the two chassis rails. I haven't seen a Majesta/Aristo front cut to compare, but obviously that can't be there.

I bought a JZX-90 ( E-JZX90-ATPVZ ) and this was a front sump.
