Supra won't fire - need help !

Hi all.
I need some help for a friend of mine, and this is a bit of a shot in the dark. He has an MA61 Supra and the standard 5M-E engine has been turfed for a 5M-GE. This is the problem:
"but it will only crank and not fire. Need to check all the earth's and connections and then a couple of other things. The main thing is I have fuel pressure, so I know the COR is working. I also have spark at the plugs, so I know the distributor is getting a signal"
So, I'm thinking some sort of sensor problem or a stuffed earth somewhere.
What could cause it to crank but not fire, if there is spark at the plugs and fuel in the rail ?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Timing out? Someone I know was doing a conversion with a 4AGE, they had that exact same problem. They had spark, and fuel, but it wouldn't start.

That could be it, I will pass it on.
BTW, I will pass on the PS system, long story but it turns
out to not be suitable in the end. I will drop those
2 rims off this afternoon.

If this is Phil E's MA61  , then no, the injectors are not firing.... fuel pump runs, cold start injector fires, there's pressure in the rail, there's power to the injectors, but no trigger...

Bad earth to the ECU! This has caught me out several times with the Supra (5M-E) and Celica (18R-GEU). Of course it could be lots of things but that's the first place I'd look.

It is Phil E's, but I was under the impression that the injectors were firing.

Injectors are definately not firing. They have 12V power, but are not pulling to ground to tigger the injector solenoids.
Earths have been checked OK. fuel pump switches on when cranking, and the cold start injector fires.
What do the 3 wires to the injector relay actually go to?
Anyone got a wiring diagram for a 5MGE?
