G'day,
Just got my gze on the road (finally) and i've noticed that i'm using A LOT of fuel...
I've been from miranda to the airport twice and a little bit here and there and gone through 1/2 a tank...
was wondering if it just needs some running in, or if it could be running rich for some reason...
Anyone with a gze rolla, how many k's do you get a tank??
Thanks

not quite the "airport " as such...
the south west sector carpark... whick if going along through brighton is just past the cooks river... where all that new m5 shit is...
It just seems to be going down really fast... could be just me getting used to a forced induction...

4AGZE's (stock ECU etc.) seem to be capable of highly variable consumption - I've done it personally to get about 4km/l from one tank, and 16.5 from the very next tank, both optimax. It ALL comes down to that foot of yours, and if you've just done the conversion, and are giving it a hard time, she'll drink it good...

of course, getting the same fuel economy no matter how far your foot is to the floor is a great incentive to speed

Actually I find the problems more about me and less about the car - head WANTS to use less fuel, and sometimes it works... but usually foot puts ITSELF down, and I just hang on...

I get about 450km out of a tank, average around 8.5l/100km. It's all about how heavy that right foot is, you can easily drive it off boost with engaging the supercharger which is what I usually do.
To get 4km/l you must have been really giving it mrshin

I drained 3/4 of a tank in an EB fairmont hooning around with power button on once. Expensive
GZE will be fine

If you're gonna give someone's car a hard time, you might as well do it properly
