Hi all

The engine makes a screeching noise when i start. could it be the Belt, i've set the alternator as far as it would go. Belt is around 11 months old, does it need replacing ?

it still could be too tight..
try adjusting the alternator bracket to make it alittle more loose?

also check for cracks on the bracket
