ae82 vs honda civic gli

friend at work has a honda civic gli, and he just had an exhaust system with extractors etc...
anyway he was bragging on how it went really hard and would kill any toyota it came across, in particular mine. He searched the web and found heaps of videos of civics chopping heaps of other cars, but could not fine one against an ae82.
finally i got his of his bragging and decided to give him a go.
Not having optimax in my tank due to the fact that it was $1.05 a litre i was a bit scared of losing and copping an earfull from him all day.
Anyway we found a strip of road which was empty, we lined up, i stuck it in first(duh) reved it a bit...finally we planted it and to my suprise, with my jump i was half a car ahead...
anyway i took 1st gear up to 5k, double shifted to second, and i was 1 1/2 car lengths ahear, 3rd and i was 2 car lengths, high 3rd and almost 4th a good 5-7 car lengths ahead
i stopped and i decided to brag about it and rub it in his face.
he was not too happy and decided he will mod his car by friday and will give me another go
just seems funny that he brags on about honda engineering and gets chopped by a 4age with an exhaust (no extractors) as the only mod

oh and my 7afe ae102 is a bit faster than auto civic vti coupe...would lose by a bit to a manual vti.

i mean that u put the throttle down before i shift into second so i dont lose any revs in the transition between 1st and second.

hahahaha.........yea, its just for shits and giggles though
he keeps saying....."i'll be satisfied when i start beating you, thats all i have to do"...
so now he's doing little bolt-ons here and there so he can
try to get his car just enough to beat me
he'll never beat the TOYOTA!!!
LOL

I like the part where you shifted into second twice
I had a friendly race with a mates civic which I left for dead, and thats with a totally stock exhaust!
