i have a ta22 3sgte and would like to know who i should go to to get my car engineered. i have all relevent upgrades done, brakes, suspension, diff, etc.. also how much am i looking at to have it engineered??

Mate don't know if you want to take the hike up my way but at Toukley there is an engineer who did my RA28 3T-GTE cert.

He charged $220 which from other quotes seemed very reasonable.

Don't know if it'd be more with brakes etc.

If you interested i'll give you his details.

yeah that sounds quite reasonable Joel!! can you find out how much it would be to engineer the motor, brakes, diff, roll cage, etc.. i just want to have it all done that way mr police officer cant pin me for anything. thanks buddy

afaik, certificates have just gone up due to liability stuf. was calling around a week or two ago and most wanted $440... still a small price to pay for the legality tho...

G'day,

My guy was a bit expensive, but he came to me, gave the car a brief look and told me that the cert would be in the mail in 2 days...

That was for a 4A-GZE in AE-71, with front brake upgrade...

I paid $600
