number one on my list is a corona with LIME in it.

its much nicer like this and its how the mexicans drink it too.

Pikes Oakbank beer (local SA) is a really nice boutique beer
stella artois
grolsch

for some reason every time i drink heiniken i get absoultley fucked and stupid and end up feeling up every chick in site that i know, not just boobs and arse either Embarassed

id rather drink lemon lime vodkas, or vodka drys or something like that than cheap beer, but if i have to drink it its usually west end draught or VB (uuugh)

I think VB is nice if it is ICE cold, and I mean ice, then its passable. I remember going into a bottlo with my dad and me saying, what do you want, I'm paying, anything is on. Then he says, well I usually get Emu Export. I'm like, wtf, you don't get Export when someone says get what you want, hell you don't get Export ever! That stuff is feral Razz

Pilsner Urquell is only made in Chekoslovakia and imported. None of this "made under liscence" stuff. The labels used to read "Approx 5.9 %" but now just read a std amount. <ade to the same recipies since 1842, the first "clear" bear (not cloudy. Check http://www.pilsner-urquell.com/ .

EDIT : My mistake you were talking about the stout. Not sure they are pretty cagey (read slow) down there. The breweries (boags and cascade) dont even run tours on w/ends, how bads that when stuck staying across the river from it for three months.

yes, practical experience. imagine eating dehydrated soda water, the best definition i can raise. Drunk on too many different things, making self saucing choc pudding and no baking powder "will baking soda do?" "why not". Well we still ate it anyway. But baking powder sdoes contain soda, just not very much. Welcome to the toymods baking forum.

where do i start.

Corona- shit beer the mexicans dont even drink(like them thinking we drink fosters- like hello) has to be disquised with fruit

extra dry- not really taste like beer.had ginger beer with more flav. good alternative to coke however.

cascade light- although being a light beer, taste wise is stronger than the full strenght alot more flav, has to be the best light beer there is.

coopers- top drop- my fav extra strong vintage ale.

carlton draught black- tasty alternative to the "old" with a bit more flavour without the vegemite taste. served nice with a roast.

xxxx- this would have to be the equivalent of passion pop when compared to moet. good for.......well nothin let the queenslanders have it.

** ok thats my 2cents(prepared to get shot down also)

if your after a good drop with large selection try the greengate hotel on pacific hwy killara.
have many a good draught beers and some you wont get anywhere else in sydney.( used to work there)

Becks, nothing beats it for a crisp, clean tasting beer. That said, I also love Heineken, Hahn Premium and Cascade Premium.

Corona with lemon is nice, goes down like water if you're in the mood to get trashed.

VB is bearable, but only if it comes in King Browns Laughing

extra dry has to be by far the best budget beer

but nothing beats Hahn Witbier
"a german style wheat beer"
good good stuff

If you can get Lapinkulta(Laplands Gold) beer as a export from your local alcohol store then you can say that you have tasted the best beer. Other fine Finnish beers are Karhu, Koff, Olvi...
Try also Velkopopowich Kozel. Very good Czech beer.

Only drinkable spirits are vodkas like Stolishnaja.

Carlsberg ... it is decidedly so ..

Tuborg is practically the same, many claim that no difference can be found in taste between these two .. i believe that Tuborg is more sour than Carlsberg, especially when its not really cold Wink

I'd drink just about any beer .. went to the Beer-Festival in Munich last year, one of the best experiences ever Very Happy see more here http://www.oktoberfest.de/en/home/

You sit in "tents" with 7.000 to 10.000 other people (15 tents in total in 2002), you can ONLY order "Ein Mass" .. which is one liter / 1,76 (Imperial) pint - after 9 of those I was beginning to go blank - do that for 3-4 days in a row and say you love it!! .. I did Very Happy

Coldies or Carona's are great.
VB passable

I worship Beam, religiously. dont know why,i just love the taste, not a big fan of any other bourbons.

Bourbon Street (nightclub, woolongong) has best deals i reckon. $10 jugs (of anything) all night, and $3 drinks before 11.
they have theses drinks, fruit tingles (i think), look and smell like a brezzer or something but fuck they taste good, and get you fucking hammered! Also have another blue drink down there, dont know the name,me and mates named it avy (avgas) it deadset looks and smells like it andprobably tastes like it too, definately one to get u hammered!

Coldies... are great.
I worship Beam, religiously. dont know why,i just love the taste, not a big fan of any other bourbons.

You have some problems. Carlton Cold is piss water, not beer. And Beam is rancid bourbon. Jack's is the bare minimum. If you want good bourbon, that starts at Bulleit

clintgodde: Also the novelty beer that sold out really quick, Duff Smile Never had any myself by apparently it was shite.
