I have an cast adapter plate, lightened flywheel and starter motor to suit 2T etc engine for mid-engine application. This is out of a formula 2 race car as used in the 80's and was supplied by Motor Improvements ( from memory ).
It mates up to a Hewland or VW gearbox. The details of my next project will be finalized in the next month or two, but it appears these will not be needed.
