I want to know if anyone here has completed the 1jz conversion into the MA61 supra with the r154 gearbox? I know the transmission tunnel isnt wide enough, but can this be widened enough with a hammer or is it far to narrow? also which r154 gearbox would have the best shifter arrangement to suit an MA61 supra?
Of the 3 JZA61's ive been in they have all been W58's
that said, there is someone on the celica supra forums that i vaugely remember doing this behind a 7mgte and supposedly the shifter isnt 'too far back'.
