max psi for ct12's before shattering them?????????????

some say no more than std 8psi
some say no more than 15psi
does anyone know for sure??????
also i need them reco'd so if anyone can get good deals.......

Well considering a Gen3 1GGTE (I'm assuming you mean CT12's and not CT12A's) runs 11psi from the factory, the people who say 8psi dont know their shit.
Quite a few people run then 14-15psi all day every day no problems. There isn't a point past that, moreso from the fact they are WAAAY out of their efficiency zone.

There is a CT12 a CT12A and a CT12B, they were used on the 1GGTE, the 1JZGTE and 2JZGTE respectively.
Which engine was it?

IT HAS WATER AND OIL COOLING IF THAT HELPS

mines out of a gz20
i been lookin for leaking hoses on my boost controller for so so long now, i thought they were meant to be 8psi or somethin std.

Gen 3 could have come out of either a GZ20 Soarer or a GA70 Supra. Check the ECU plug, if it has a HEAP of pins its the Gen3. There are so many variations of coloured plugs that this is the best way to check.

Without high-flowing the CT26 barely makes more power on a 1G than the two CT12's and is more laggy in doing it, especially after high-flowing.
