Hi, I in the Adelaide area and want a good 4 speed W40 box with the bellhousing to bolt it up to a 2T motor. I would consider getting the bellhousing from interstate if it proves to be a problem here.
thanks kevin.

yes it is the bellhousing from the 3T GTE motor. Also the bellhousing from the 1G fits but the clutch slave and arm is on the opposite side and so it may not be suitable for some set ups.

So you guys are saying that a W55 bellhousing (3TGTE) also fits a W40, and therefore W50 as well??
I was always under the impression that the W40/50 had a different bolt pattern to the gearbox than the W55/57
