Quick question, why did you buy ARP rod bolts when the eagle rods come with a new set of bolts anyway?

It was the package I got and because they are by far a superior item to the standard bolts.

Sorry to butt in here on this post..
But i've got a contact in NZ @ Toyota who can get parts very well priced!
I'm buying a whole gasket kit for the 3s-gte, plus 1 extra headgasket including postage for $300 NZ.. Which is like $270 Aus..
If you are interested we could get another head gasket added and split the postage a bit?
Headgasket is $50 +GST (12.5% I think in NZ). Postage is the killer at $40, but we could go halves..

I take it these are the ones available on Ebay for US$704 (~AUD$1100)? Be aware that the JE Pistons are 9:1 compression which is quite high if you are going to run any significant boost...

have to say thats not a bad price considering although i think the comp is too high i know the eagle rods i was qouted at $800 for all 4 the je pistions are worth a hefty amount also... not a bad buy too bad mines already built.
