are you folks able to buy 18RG gasket kits incl. HG's from your local jobber? or is it a hassle for you to source as well?
If you do have easy access.. whats a gasket kit for an RG worth in AUD? whats a decent quality brand name?
I've two options.. my company is sending some folks down there for a forest fire conference.. might be able to talk the boss into hittin a jobber for me.. 2nd option is to find a mfgr. that makes 18RG kits and try and order a few directly..
TIA for any info..

There are a few places that do gaskets, even some toyota dealers still stock them.
From AU$65 to $85 is what I have been quoted.

Or you can just buy an 18R-C gasket which you can get anywhere. The only difference is the timing cover part, and it's perfectly safe to use a tube of gasket stuff there.

There is a local Australian company called "GAS MISER" which does make and supply gaskets (all of 'em) for the 18R-GEU (mostly same as 18R-G).
Where are these available from you ask?
AUTOBARN! Yes, autobarn! Just get them to pull out their Gas Miser catalogue and look up the Toyota import motor section.
Cost?
Head Gasket = approx AUD$85
Complete VRS Kit = AUD$180.00
I have the above VRS kit here at home. It has EVERYTHING!
