2ac & 4ac differences? Thu, 18 September 2003 03:11 Go to next message
hey guys/girls,

my daily driver is on its last legs and needs a new motor very soon.
its a 1988 corolla hatch s (the really fast one-jj)
atm it has the standard 1.3l 2ac motor.
im looking at chucking in a 4ac just to get me around till i can afford a complete twin cam 4agze swap.
are there any differences between the 2ac and 4ac motors?
will everything bolt up, eg altenator, gearbox, dizzy...
also, just out of curiosity will the twin cam head bolt up? cause carby twin cam sounds ok till i get a computer!

Thanx in Advance

should be pretty much the same except for the bore and stroke, there could also be a difference in the valve sizes
