You can buy two. One for you and one for me. We can have competitions which include:

1. Cross continent races
2. Chicken with the planes
3. Chicken with missiles
4. First one to get through this canyon without going above the sides wins.
5. Lowest flyby of the house wins.
6. Scare the crap out of jumbo jets by "escorting" them into Sydney.

And many more. Very Happy

Note the cost for a 1 hour test "drive". $4000. After we get you it, the running costs are all yours. Very Happy

JET.747[/size]

That plate is on a VL Commodore from Wollongong IIRC. I know I've seen it locally somewhere.

I went to the NSW RTA site to do a dodgy 'request a plate and see what it looks like' and it said that 'JET.747' was unavailable (so I figured it must be on a car somewhere).

It is almost fitting it is on VL Commodore! No doubt the multitude of variations are also out there:
DR.747
MR.747
SIR.747
DR.JET......etc. Smile

Bloody RICE MOBILE. That rear wing sits up higher that the roof.

Hmmmm, I wonder if Jetspeed make a bodykit for these.
I think I would have to lower it and shove it on 18" chrome rime with a 35 profile rubber.
What do you think it would look like resprayed in toyota red with a neon kit underneath it and 2 15" subs in the back???

That would be so cool to own and just leave in a shed somewhere. Just so you can say you own a jet fighter. Smile

Its actually pretty cheap when you think about it, I mean $140,000 for a Mach 2+ Jet plane, you could get interstate really easily. I dont like the running costs though, I whinge about the $20-30 of PULP I use a week, imagine $4000/h...ouch Its also funny that there are 14 bids on it, so someone actually has that spare cash lying around....oh well, I can dream Confused

I dunno the fuel economy of the 2tgeu has been great so far, last week I drove it to Gosford & Back twice(280Km's), drove to the city & back and drove to work for 3 days...I generally fill up on Tuesday nights cause in Sydney its cheaper then, got Optimax for 92c/L last nite which aint great, but better than the $1.09/L I had to pay one Friday arvo when I forgot to fill up on Tuesday...
