4AGTE Build Help Wed, 24 September 2003 02:08 Go to next message
Hi Guys,

I have a ZE in an AE82 and im sick of 105fwkw. I want to achieve around 160-170 fwkw.

I have read the turbo build up info on the site. I was wondering if anyone knows what size injectors the 100kw or the 86kw manifold will take or what is the diameter of the standard injector.

I have access to a set of 600cc injectors, but I don't know whether or not they will fit in the mani.

Does anyone know what will fit in either manifold, and is there much difference between the 100kw and the 86kw manifold when turbocharging.

If anyone has a 86kw intake mani, throttle body etc email me.

Freak 600cc injectors are way too big for what you need.
if you dont wanna use your 365cc gze ones, get some 440cc 7mgte supra injectors.
the injectors go into the head and fuel rail, not the inlet manifold.
the difference in a 86kw inlet manifold and a 100kw one is that
the 86kw is for a bigport head and the 100kw one if for a smallport head.

Freak according to my recourses, if it has a AFM then it's a bigort, but if it's got a MAP then it's smallport.
they changed in the AE92 in the 5th month of '89.

Jess, if you dont blow it up. good luck would love to see it.
dunno if i would run too long a duration cam though.......

feral4mr:i dont no if i well run the cams the cams are a thing i dont really need far as i see but i should make about 200kw on 21psi without that 70 shot

man there was only one corolla at the jamboree and that ran a crap time 14.52 i would love to see some of the toymods crew go up there and give it a shot
the fastest fwd car was a mazda atina and it pulled somthing like a 12.83 like come on a ae82 or a mr2(aw11)turbo runing 16pounds could bet that on slicks tru
