What browsers are you guys using?
It seems that it only works on Mozilla. For me at least....
IE used to do it, but not any more.

Opera 7.2 now, still works. Seriously, ditch IE, its a crap browser. Mozilla or Opera are far better for Windows then IE.

The favicon stopped working at IE 5.5. I have IE 6 SP1 here at work and it doesn't appear... Maybe they fixed it with SP2.

As was said earlier, upgrade to a modern browser. IE sux0rz.

I found something with those favicons. (I've been to many sites that use them).

I find that if you empty your internet cache, or it gets corrupted somehow and clears itself, it'll vanish as the favicon is kept in the browser cache in IE.

Yeah I noticed that too, cause when you bookmarked something it would use the favicon instead of the normal icon. Then when you cleared your cache it would get rid of the favicon and revert to the normal boring icon. Maybe you people are clearing your cache all the time cause you are looking at websites you shouldn't be! hehehe
