Gold Coast sounds good except for the aforementioned parking problems. I don't even know what car i will be driving yet as my Corona still has little bits to go and the Soarer will be gone. so...
we need some definite times and places people!

As for a meeting place... how about somwhere in the city.
Roma Street Parklands would make a great place to grab some shots of all the cars and to meet the Brisbane people.
Lunch destination... hmm, don't know many places on the coast, maybe somebody else has a good sugestion.
Looking forward to meeting you guys / girls, will be a good day out.

except for the BWCP thing - since the 90's every car i've driven or passenger'd in to Gold Coast has suffered some kind of mechanical failure (escort: big-end failed bigtime, hiace: overheated, celica: thermofans died) 
and seeing as you folks wouldn't want me to jinx the lot of you, i'll go home after the meet, greet and wag-the-dog if youz head south

About roma st parklands..ok, but not all of us are from around there? Will and i are about 5 mins away...
I mean it can be the group meeting place if desired? If others from around bris suburbs wanna come, perhaps you can meet as a group then head to the city with us??? Just trying to organise locals with locals, before heading to the city if it makes sense!
Gold coast...does someone on here live at the coast who could reserve us a bbq near a beach or something?
We also need to pitch in for food etc...does everyone have each others numbers on here?

I suggested the park lands because it's a central meeting point... but if you want to meet somewhere further south like the hyperdome or springwood Macca's I'm not fussed either.

I am working as hard as I can on my car, but I don't think it will be ready by next week. Still have to:
finish fitting bonnet pins
Fit wiper squirter bottle
Fit aluminium where back seats were
get indicators wired (find flasher can)
Get brake light sensor and get that wired
Clean up the mess of wiring everywhere else.
Get Handbrake cable lengthened so it doesn't drag on tailshaft.
After that get mod plate and hopefully RWC.
As i work all week i think it will be very hard to get all this done.
So, i may have to miss out or go in my little cheap Corolla that i am pickin up today?
