that ma61 interior is almost identical to my gz10 soarers... all the floor and the handbrake part of center console.. and seats and pedal positions etc.. only difference is the main dash.. the soarers one is a little more wide looking..
least i know where i can steal some cheap parts for my interior now

I think the interior of the gz10 is a little more pleasing though.. door trims and actual dash are a bit more quality to look at
Its got a squashed version of my digital dash but is missing the digital climate control Sad
I love the seats in them(same as mine)... comfortable.. i need to get mine retrimmed though.. stupid cloth trim

well the g/mz20 is similar to the MA70 supra

the soarer is just a pimped out grandpa version of the supra, you would expect a little more class

The floor-plans probably aren't identical, but they would be very close.

As for what a 5ME Supra is like under full throttle...boring comes to mind Smile

Well the 5ME is kind of the opposite, seems okay cos it has a pile of torque low in the rev-range...but it never seems to sparkle at any point..just plods along.

The harder you rev it the more painful it sounds Wink

how much does this million dollar makeover cost?
there are some tired looking parts in my supra that could do with a spruce up, so i figure i might budget it into my stereo upgrade(gonna make soem door pods for my splits so i may aswell remove the door trim etc Razz)

on a side note...i want to give Delta children...god damn she's sexy

haha @ delta

i tried 2 vinyl dyes, both satin black, the best came from VHT motorspray, "dont delay it, motor spray it" etc..

this happended to be the cheaper alternative @ 10.99 per can covers 2wice as much as the more expensive gear...

2- 3 cans do fully do all trim vinyl and trim carpet, not including the hood and sun-shades...

plus a few cans of reg. spray paint 3 per can for plastic bits...

make sure you have a good 2 - 3 day free if it is your first attempt at removing everything: mild sunny weather permitting..

here ya go boudan,
i took a bunch, hope they help.
Note: the crappy speakerless holes in the door trim, the missing plug in the door trim, and in the boot on the left side there is a removable panel missing inside which the toolkit would have been.
Incidently if anyone has any of these panels for sale i would be interested.

The VHT one is pretty good, doesn't scratch off so easily, actually penetrates the stuff, especially the vinyl.

Some of the cheaper ones are dodge though.

my tool kit was located with the dodgy jack(not that there was anything inside of it)
and on my "left"(if looking towards the boot from the front) is the bladder for the rear window washer(nicely hidden and a bastard to refill)

ah well,
i just saw a toolkit in another supra there once,

and the panel i am refering to is above the washer fluid refil thing, its big, like half a metre across,
its pretty obvious and it just clips on.

http://members.optusnet.com.au/christopha/116_1678 .JPG
if u look here, there is a section above the washer fluid door and it is missing

might have a look in my boot after work Razz

anyways, think i'll have to pick some of this VHT vinyl crap up in a couple of weeks(when i recover from the amp\front splits purchase i'm about to make)

ok lets forget about the toolkit.
either way there is a panel there.

its not really difficult for the owner to pick up the toolkit and place it on the other side so perhaps the toolkit i saw on the right side, was only there because an owner picked it up and placed it there.

Your right, the tool kit goes with the missing panel. There is a blue panel on a white supra at Rush's Pick and Pull at Blactown as of last sunday.

1983supra- i removed that white car's accelerator cable, just wondering if the blue section of dash still remains on the passenger seat where i left it after i pulled it out about 2 weeks back?

The piece im talking about contains the bonnet release and speaker (drivers side).

Glad to see fellow pick n payless pillagers Smile

Black - the seats are out and sitting at the entry gate on sale. The section of the dash you mentioned is still on the front floor. I salvaged the tweed door trims, rear side trims and back seats for my supra, they shampooed up fairly well, I was getting sick of the blue stripes. So I have a blue stripe interior except for the front seats if anybody wants one. Was that you I saw parked on the back road from victoria road to concord road the other day.
