i had a bit of a dispute about this on supraforums a while ago
i was always under the impression that
aero = removable top(like on mk4 supras)
targa = like two removable panaels that leaves a bar down the middle
convertable....well i'm sure there isnt any dispute over this
but anyways, apparently people mix and match targa and aero top alot....
anywho
i chose aero as i personally like them

Yeah i was under the impression that only supras had Areo tops and it was a whole removable roof section with no bar through the middle....Honda CRX has the same sort of setup....And a targa roof is with 2 removable sections leaving a bar thru the middle........correct me if im wrong.

go the targa. I imagine rigidity would be better with the bar down the middle too

Then they would be an aero-top...or a targa top, not a true coupe.
There is one thing thats better though...a coupe (or hatch, I'll stick em both in the same category for this topic) with a sunroof

Sunroof adds weight. Says the guy with the sunroof...
But sunroof is a good compromise if you really need that wind-in-hair experience.

some convertibles look shmick too. take for example the ferrari 355. it comes in all 3 forms. convertible, targa or aero and coupe. and from watching movies like the rock or bulletproof its hard to disagree with the convertible look.
