Ive got a set of wheels for my ta22 15x6.5 fronts and 15x7s rear.. the problem is the fronts rub on the struts even though they dont have tyres on them, is there a way i can get spacers put in or some other kind of method to make some space, really need some help otherwise i may have to sell em
any suggestions would be much appreciated

You should be able to find an engineer to press some spacers onto the hub or rim!

you can get spacers but this could lead to problems such as the wheelnuts not catching the studs because the spacers push it out that little bit too much. in this case you will need to put longer studs in to make it safe.
i just did this on the weekend to my hilux, the spacers were $20 for the pair from auto1 and the studs $6 each.
im not sure about the legality of this, i was told it was illegal by one guy but the others said it was ok, so i did it anyway.

Its probably not that bad providing you have longer studs, but it is illegal.

It is illegal in QLD to use spacers if they are floating! If they are pressed on its fine

Just letting you know that's handy to know.
I was just reading earlier tonight about a brake upgrade on a certain car and the major problem being that either new rims or spacers were to be used to gain clearance from the bigger discs.
But what about longer studs?

You'll have to speak to an engineer about how much longer you can go! I know there is a limit on the width of spacers but I dont know what it is

Cool. It's still a good option to know about first rather than having to buy new rims and rubber.
