Hey, just doing some looking around and ive come down to these wheels i think would look nice on my ra40.
Well, heres the pics, opinions and ideas appriciated

So boys...what ya rekon>? Im going for 16x7 or 16x8 on all of rim styles above...Lets do a vote...
Everyone tell me your favourite wheel to suit an ra40 coupe and then ill c what i should do.

umm yeh well the stud pattern on my car is the standard ra40 one.
I know not many companys do that stud pattern but im just concentrating on styles at the moment from people who have seen nice ones in previous times..
So thanx for that info n e ways

Yeh i liked those wheels as well...
But now i have the problem of suiting the front offset.
DOes anyone know what the front offset is?

fwiw, all those last lot of rims (the last 7 or so) are 4WD only, note the 6 studs on most, and 16x10" sizes

Actually no none of those previous ones are 4wd wheels.
I got them from the street/passenger colletions from the ANZ, Performance alloy, cragar and lenso websites.
So yeh, the ones you put up, what are the brand and model of that wheel>?

Oh, and go have a look at the Performance wheels site again, nearly all of those wheels are 4WD ones dude.

if you have a look at the studs on those rims up posted, they are 6 stud
and the sizes are 16x10
how many passenger cars have 6 stud? and can fit up to 16x10 under the guards??
not many, if not none

The offset on the std rims for a RA40 is +27mm.
Same for front and rear

Thanx, now after having a look at some of the simmons range..
I quite like the look of these wheels-
(All of the following come in 4 stud and fit ra40's)
Simmons F90's
Simmons b45's (Available in 16x7, The set of 4 plus rubber is aprox $3120 give or take for mods to vehicle.
These wheels are only available in 17" so im not sure, but they do look nice tho.

Thanx for that, tho i dont know if black would look any good on a Venom Red Vehichle.
Not to mension that they are not in the best of condition, i shall have a look tho.
Anyone else?
I mean the prices on these wheels are huge,
3120 with rubber.

performance wheels will make any of their wheels in practically any drilling and offset that you require... so it doesnt matter if theyre mentioned in the 4WD section, they can drill/machine them for whatever spec you want - just ask - dont be a vegetable behind a computer and assume everything your read is gospel...

point taken ed, but when the hole in the centre of a 4WD mag is almost the same as the distance between the studs on a 4 stud, i dont see these mags fitting, ever
thats not to say that they dont come in a standard format
but i have never seen the same mag advertised in both 6 stud 4WD and 5 stud family car formats. but they may exist

they can make them to practically any size you request - within their offset ranges - that includes centre hole and PCD drillings...
the outlaw, for example, you can get in 4x114.3mm 67mm centre hole - just have to ask
