10+ year old in design but for 1300cc....... you can't beat the 4E-FTE. I love GT turbos!!

what about a black top 20v 4age? I know you mentioned post-4age but they did make these up untill 1999 so they arn't too old, would be easier and cheeper to get in your sprinter than any of the other engines mentioned.

Hehehe was thinkin bout sprinter. but curious in general.
Other projects potentially in mind. Just seeing what people think. Yea the 20Vs were in the AE111's, but I heard to put turbines on them, not that suited and very costly.

Hey in NSW, what is the engineerable largest capacity for a Sprinter? 1.8?
If so how are people puttin SR20s in them?

The largest capacity allowed for engineering is 3x the weight of the car, or 2.5x for turbo. I think a Sprinter is around the 850kg mark? So you can have 2.5 litre NA or 2.1 litre turbo.
