I have a sprinter that I am in two minds about keeping. It's an 83 model, oz-spec (4AC, drums on the rear, standard interior). I wanted to make it a project car, but being a uni student I haven't had the money to do anything with it. The engine and driveline is in good condition. There is rust in the usual places. It's metallic blue (dark, not sky blue). It's out of rego at the moment, and I am about to go overseas. If I sell it, then it will be on the forums in the next few days. I'm going to get some digital pics together to give people an honest idea of what it is. I am in Newcastle, NSW. Due to where I am and the fact that you'd need a car trailer to transport it, etc, then I am not going to be looking for too much for it.

If you don't mind a short travel, my sister is selling her sprinter in Canberra for $3800. It's in pretty good nic and has been un-modded. I can get some photo's and contact details if you're interested.

With respect to my sprinter, it is now registered and is being stored for me while I am overseas. As a result I am no longer interested in selling. I am sorry that I sparked unnecessary interest, but at the time I was seriously wanting to get rid of it. For what it's worth, I got the car up to scratch for pink slip, and upon my return the car is getting the rust fixed. You'll see it in and around Newcastle over the summer.
Once again, I aplogise for the ultimately misleading posts, and I wish all the serious 86 shoppers the best of luck finding something.

If anyone did own a trueno i dont think they would sell into hands like this anyway, no one who owns the legend would ever want to see ^^^^ happen to it 
and as no one has mentioned it in this thread a genuine hachi roku trueno sells for upwards of $15,000 with good examples with all the fruit commanding near $20 000 prices so best of luck to you..
