Yes, I agree, was fucking awesome...I get pissed at those movies that finish like that though Smile

Looks like I'll just have to buy them both way down the track on DVD and watch them both together...

its a good flick to take the g/f along to Evil or Very Mad

awesome actually....i loved the manga anime. A theory behind why it was included was because it'd be way too gory to portray some scenes using "real" characters. sif the manga wasnt gory enough....hehehe people dont bleed in manga they explode Laughing

along with the lighting/camera effects to minimise it

and yeah, slightly crowish
except with much less plot (some would say none... Razz)

i saw it last night, and all i can say is

"mmmmm, so-so"

it's not as tho i wasn't affected by the gore and such, but i don't think it was worth my money.

lets hope Quentin can redeem himself with the second installment

mmm
must say I wasn't impressed - typical action movie, but with swords.
normally this is cool, but it was so over the top I pretty much lost interest, except for giggling every time someone got a limb cut off

and I'm avoiding freddy vs jason - coz I know it's goin to be bad

i don't see how any of you saw the gore as a offputting thing. it was just so over the top that it was a big joke! made it great.

the most disturbing part of the movie was the anime bit i reckon, and yeah i loved it, can't wait for the next bit

ive heard good things about kill bill. I saw freddy vs jason on friday night...and that was scary Rolling Eyes my hand was so sore after i was squezzing juzzo's hand and my friend was squeezing my other hand...it wasn't so much fear but it was the sudden loud noises..well thats what i'll say Twisted Evil i had some laughs in it though...some of it was pretty damn lame...that kinda ruined it, the second half wasnt as scary as the fist...now i'll sit and wait for people to laugh at me for being scared Laughing

I saw Kill Bill for the second time last nite. hahaha! The plot is identical to the Crow... no shit. it's not just one person she's getting revenge on, it's group of people who tortured her, just like in the crow. And in both, they pick them off one by one.

plot is pretty unoriginal.... but the fight scenes are awesome.

the revenge story has been done heaps but so has a lot of things. either way its still a good movie imo. its hard to be completely original nowdays, just like music everyone gets influenced by other bands and copy them in a way even if they dont know it.
