Fuel pump for 18RGU- EFI Wed, 24 July 2002 11:06 Go to next message

I'm converting twin solex's on my 18RGU to EFI from an 18RGEU motor. What pump should i use?
I've been told a VL pump is good- what else would be good/be cheap?
How much should i expect to pay for one?
I've got a holley red fuel pump at the moment, would that be ok?

Thanks peoples
Ben

Yes if anyone has any thoughts on this please speak now,
i am possibly going to convert my 18rc to 18r-geu and was wondering what sort of fuel pump or fuel setup i would need instead of or utilising the stock carby pump??
would i need a surge tank? I too have thought of the VL pump option, What are all you EFI owners using to supply your Geu's??
did you replace the whole fuel setup or have this running from a surge tank?? Are new fuel rails needed over Rc type?
Also where is the stock computer positioned on these(18rgeu) engines? And does anyone know how much they Weigh all up with alt., dizzy, starter, injectors, etc. ??
this info would be a great help,

Cheers
Guy
