Hi all, Steve Millar has just put his 1977 RA35 GTV Celica Liftback on the market! He is asking $16,750.00. Any one who has seen this car will tell you it is one of the best presented Celica's in Australia.

For Steve's contact details, and to see the pictures check out:

blown20v,

why comment when you clearly know nothing about the car? You have no idea how neat this thing is, and clearly no idea how rare it is.

I challenge you to find 5 RA35 GTV Liftbacks worldwide in half decent condition. I bet you can't.

Trent

Very nice car steve..... though.....

I have to disagree with the "send it worldwide" comment. As a owner of an award winning RA28 who happens to live in Japan, I like to think I know a little about the subject....

You can get car like that for less than $15K AUS... here is one... not as nice though (but about $8,500)...

http://www.isize.com/carsensor/cgi-bin/CS/CSFBU050 .cgi?STID=CS210610&TRCD=TR012&BKKN=W101407 150&KTCS=F0B000000011999999000000000000000000A AAA000000019890000Z0000000000000000000000**TO_16*

and a RA27... (which I like better because you don't have those pretty bumpers)...

http://www.isize.com/carsensor/cgi-bin/CS/CSFBU050 .cgi?STID=CS210610&TRCD=TR012&BKKN=K100403 211&KTCS=F0B000000011999999000000000000000000A AAA000000019890000Z0000000000000000000000**TO_16*

So... buy the car for $16K, add shipping, customs, rego, Japanese car tax etc.... maybe $25K.... think I would pick the RA27 for $13K (and thats at a dealer!!!)

Still, congrates on a nice car steve... I wish you all the best in selling it... Now if it had a 500hp 1J, I might be interested.....

Guys,

I have seen Steve's car on many occasions now and count myself as one of the very priveledged few who have driven it. It really is a collectors piece and in my opinion worth the asking price.

Try and get a mint RA35 in japan............. and then get it here and rego'd for that money !

oh and twinturbocelica, personally i'd prefer a TA25 over the RA27 ! Do they ever come up for sale in good condition over there ??

not bastardise.... improve Very Happy

You see things come up every now and again... There is a old car dealer near my house and they had 2 TA?? GT's last time I looked....

Don't look very often as I already had an "improved" RA28 Twisted Evil

Guys you couldn't buy a stock RA28 and do it up to the same level as this rare RA35 GTV, for less than what Steve is asking! And for that money, you get a colectable, which will surely appreciate in value.
