Does anyone have any sound clips of engines or know where to download some perhaps?
I have a distinct passion for lovely exhaust notes (esp 1/2jz's and ported rotars)

some of the dynoday vids have some pretty good noise of 1j and 2js
I'll be sure to get a recording of my 1j with the exhaust off

Hey, I have a sound of a 2jz on a dyno, twin turbo running nos it sounds like a jumbo jet, and put down around 1100 rear wheel horsepower ill try find it.

It doesn't sound anything like that anymore though, now that it has 20v throttle on it.
Much smoother, but a LOT more induction noise.

Not really - The engine is out of the car and it's now got an Altezza 3SGE in it.
The 4AGE is going into the Starlet next year though and I'll try to record it then.

Ill try and nab a 3sgte one once my exhaust manifold gaskets fixed ..
Il will have the rally style 3 inch system on it by then .. Should " Hurrrrrrrrrrrrrr " quite nicely
