18rgeu injectors (flow, connector colour) Tue, 04 November 2003 11:14 Go to next message
hi all,

i have some 18rgeu efi gear. It came with two sets of injectors. One set has blue connectors, one set has grey connectors (or maybe faded beige??) Confused

been searching the net etc, but can't find what flow standard 18rgeu injectors are?, or maybe these aren't even standard?

they have some numbers on them. i have found lots of listings for nippon denso injectors but they all dont give part numbers. only connector colour, beside none of them list anything for the 18rgeu.

the numbers on mine are

grey: 195500 - 0324

blue: 195500 - 0280

maybe some of you guys running 18rg with efi can put some light on this for me?, like maybe what other injectors fit etc etc

cheers

Chris

the blue injectors are indeed the correct 18R-GEU injectors... but i dont know their flow.

The beigy ones are from a 22R-E analogue EFI motor.

There's an autospeed article with flow data on a few injectors.
<http://www.autospeed.com.au/A_0102/cms/article.htm l>

Also, if you're an Ozmegasquirter, there's a spreadsheet of injector data on the yahoo group files section <http://au.groups.yahoo.com/group/oz_ms/files/Injec tor%20data/>.

i am planning to run megasquirt.

looking at all the data ive collected up,

blue ones come up for 22RE and 4AGE.
Also orange comes up with 22RE as well.
beige comes up for 4AGE

ok for connector type C (which looks like mine) one set of data says, blue, 2.4ohms, 210cc, 4AGE (EFI-L -87.Cool
for grey it has 2.4 ohms, 182/195cc, and HEAPS of engines, including 22RE.

i also have some data which says orange/blue are 13.8 ohms, from 22RE.

so are these early 18geu low impedance or high?

anyway, doesn't matter too much i guess, it will be around 200cc. They probably need cleaning and testing anyway.

cheers
