 I Need a Colour

My pride and joy, the 1977 Toyota Celica baby Mustang is getting a new respray and i cannot make up my mind on a new colour. I want it to be an aggressive colour, but not to stand out too much
Any Suggestions??

i think a nice silver, dark gunmetal grey or a royal blue. bright flat orange would also look good but i presume it stands out just a bit haha.

Ford Monza red (my car has it). Use a lot of clear as well. It'll look good with gold rims.
You do have to wash red cars to look the best. And remember, red goes faster

Red sux.
Ever heard of BMW dakargelb? It is the yellow that the bimmers come out in (post '93 looks left )
The yellows that I have my eyes on are ST205 Celica, the metallic gold colour of the current Holdens and the Mazda 6 yellow (it has a mica in it I think).

The hot house green (holden) would look good with gold wheels and
is very similar to an original celica colour. however it doesn't take long for everyone to get it
the new deep purple may be alittle more subtle and less attention getting but I'd have a little more purple/gold tint in the paint.
I'd tell you what I'm thinking but that's a secret

quick question, how much is it for a respray? I know it depends on what i want done......paint, bear metal or not, etc. but just a price for a black with a candy red gloss, on an 87 celica.

What about the tiger mica on the VT commodores. If you've got gold wheels that would look pretty good. It's not that bright that it really stands out but it's different.

how about a candy apple red ..
it uses a gold base - with a red tint clearcoat/pearl over the top ..
the colour is on the 2f2f DVD where they modify an evo seven ..
Looks tops i think !
If not - any metallic silver ( mini elenor ?) or dark metallic blue would look ok with gold rims ..

After much deliberation and looking, we have decided on a Blue form the 2002 Holden Commodore VY called "Delph Blue". It should be done by end of Feb, then off to get the rest of the car put back together.
