What is the deal with cool Gearshift Knobs?

Why is it that when you find a cool gearshift knob, it doesn't just screw on like the one you take off? All the ones I have found have to have three micro hex nuts tightened around the gearstick to hold them on. And then those hex nuts come loose after just a day or two. Not worth the hassle!
Where can you get cool gearshift knobs that screw on?
Post some pictures of cool knobs you have and say where you got them, especially if they screw on!

Use thread tape to lock the grub screws in.
Even MOMO gear knobs have grub screws they suck if the gear shift thread is small dia.

I agree with KOFFEE-BLACK.
Trust knobs screw on the orig thread just like an OEM knob.

yeah trust gear knobs are the way to go, plus they are heavy so when you shift it feels good.

i had the same problem, you need to use those rubber spacers that come with the knob, otherwise the metal screws are trying to grip onto the metal gearstick, whihc doesnt work, but rubber is grippy. so now ive gone from tightening the knob at the traffic lights every few days, to tightening it like once every two months.

dude...if you wanna use the knob given to you by 'caroline' then i suggest this..
go and get some loctite 262 threadlocker.
tha's some goooooood shit..
put it on the GRUB screws, and do them up. i've never needed to use any plastic sleeves, or anything like that...just make sure you do them up tight.
and RollaBoy...i'm pretty sure RAZO knobs are screw on. mine in my Trueno is, anyway...
