What the hell. That's a really poor attitude.

I'm sure the drift kings of Japan never would've gotten good if they never tried. I doubt they were perfect on their first shot.

That's just really weak.

oh well, I guess you're just suited to driving from A to B, fair enough.

I don't think he understands the concept of counter steering, he could't even hold teh drift but could only induce oversteer then follow it threw by spinning the car.
I bet that even after that day he still dosn't understand the basics

Also, this is an "outtake" of his mistakes, there's another vid around somewhere of him actually drifting a corner (not linking corners up though).

so gee, you know, constructive criticism maybe, but just paying someone out is not on. I thought this was an Australian forum.

Well after meeting that person on the weekend ,at the serious performance dvd video shoot at calder park . As well as a few other AE86 owners . All i can say is he can drift , but how well ? . you will have a see for yourself at the drift meeting in march at calder , that if he drives his car , maybe someone else will drive his car like at the jms meet . Sorry that they soon packed up and moved from the carpark to the track where no one could see there drift technique . Or maybe next time you will let some AE86 drives drift for a bit , before telling some complete strangers to "fuck off" because they could perhaps drift a bit better than you . I like nissans as well but that guy gives them a bad name , no wonder the sport hasn't grown in melbourne with egos like that . Just watch the people from interstate who started drift in Australia wipe the floor of these so called drifters , i though drift was ment to be a fun sport with friendly people ? Ow well the comp will sort that person ego out .

drifting is a non-competitive sport. even if he's shit, it's all about having fun. don't hate, appreciate.. besides, owning a tofu car doesn't make you a better driver.

I saw the other video where he actually does drift. That first video does make him look really bad, but hes actually pretty good.

Well his ego is the real problem, people wouldn't make fun of his skills or lack there of (noteably in the past, i haven't seen him around the local industrial for some months now due to lack of license) but yer... a few people in the melb drift scene (wether he likes it or not, we like to go 'driftin') don't appreciate the cockyness.

But hey if he's gonna organise the shit, oh well, maybe you should organise one, and when he comes along with the ego, you tell the security to bust his ass down.. take him out back.. and.. well, do like they do @ crown.

but don't let one bad cookie (regardless of size) ruin the batch.. Smile

did you tell him to "fuck off" back? if not, you should have..
and if you're reading this, fuvk you (you know who you are).

I apologize for the language I have used, but I'm yet to find a better way to fully express myself in the english language.

Grant.

Yeah, I was just thinking "This looks like out takes to me". If that was all he did all day, then yeah, he sucks. But I think if I where to learn to drift, even if I had been doing it for a while, I would fuck it up now and then. It's actualy rather hard to controll the ass end when it tries to come around... so I hear.

Yer Grant , you are right that one person shouldn't give you all such a bad name so to speak . It just that coming from a track racing background it is a very disapointing to see that kind of idiot , when track people normally go out of there way to help each other to improve there driving and there cars . It really doesn't interest me , and i am not normally the type to get pissed with people too , sh*t everyone has a bad day . Which car did you have there ?

And "owning a tofu car doesn't make you a better driver" thats for sure Shraka , i think there has been too much intial d stereo typing , and yer i bet its hard to do a control drift when manufactures of car go to all the trouble to make them handle .

Oh okay.

Defiantly not as easy as it is in computer games... except perhaps Nascar Racing 2003 Season. That game is crazy-hard.

I still dont get the point of drifting..

Oh well, im sure it will pass just like shakira, spokey dokeys and pokemon. The general populous always destroys things when it becomes commercialised, just like trance. Rolling Eyes
