I went to Repco today to get some new Bosch Super 4 spark plugs. I gave the assistant my car/engine details and 2 different part numbers came up for AE92 and AE93.
The Super 4's I've had it there for nearly 3 years were completely fine So I would thoroughly recommend them. Anyway, the plugs I ended up getting were for the '4AGEL' What does the L mean and are these plugs ok for my engine? To make matters more confusing, the part number of my last set of plugs was different again. The new plugs appear identical to the old ones
I hope I have the right ones in there.
Previous Set : Bosch Super 4 - FR56 (didn't register on Repco's computer)
New Set : Bosch Super 4 - FR78X
Option 2 : Bosch Super 4 - FR78
Option 3 : Bosch Super 4 - FR60 (None in stock)
They wanted $20 EACH for the NKG's! I got the Bosch ones $40 for a boxed set of 4.
Anyone with a 100kw SX Corolla use Super 4's? which part number do you have?
What month/year is your car? IE is it an ae92 or ae93?
Get the one that matches your car.
Having said that, either set should be fine (should be the same).
as long as the lenght of the spark plug (the screw part/ that goes in to the head) is the same it will be fine.
my self, using NGK iridium p no:? BKR6EIX (from memory/ not made for the 4age butimprovised wif washers) they seem fine but next service going to go NGK platnums (what toyota recommended)
