you will need a 185/60/14 rubber to run on these, and hell yes these are very good rims.
As for tyre choice.. what do you have in mind? Racing? Drift? Street?
In that size and if your serious about sticking i'd be asking some people with Clubman's and the likes what tyre to run
Just look at a lot of the jap drifters with ae86's// they run a 14X7
lighter IS better

rare as the proverbal... i have heard of them but have never seen them thats for sure.
Basically i think they are made my the same company that produces WORKS rims. They were made for race use only (hence the light weight of them) and if you used them on the street and hit a pot hole i think you would bend them!
i think they would look gorgeous on an AE86!

what width tyres for 7 wide get that "stretched" look
ya know the one? when the sides dont go straight, they have a curve to it?
basically so it doesnt roll off the rim whe your sideways at 80km's
these on the front
14 x 7.5 inch -4 offset watanabe's on the back
car is already low with 14" toms igeta's on it
my cf jblood bonnet and my genuine kouki trueno front lip and sideskirts will top it off
can't wait!

7" is aproximately 215's ideal size.
So anything from 185-195 would give you the stretched look.

because its a light car, weight per square mm of rubber and all that stuff.
Ive had 195 and 205 rubber on my ae86's and it handled better with 195's, it was quicker also, Yes both tyres were the same type.

If you look at all the AE86's running 14" in Japan, they all use 185/60/14's.
Simon, perhaps you should try this as I've noticed my steering is a lot better since going to 14's, probably because there is less rubber to steer on the road.
Nice rims ... anything that is 7" wide and near zero offset should fit with no probs. They would have cost a fortune though.
I had the drift look for a while with mismatched rims but the novelty wore off so I got matching sets.
