Celica should be done by then, if not I've bought an MA61 and putting a 7MGTE in it, just for car to drive to and from work... so i will just have to take that...  but by january the TA should be done... And 1JZTRD's RA28 should be done too... So u getting ur licence back soon Shane? what u gonna bring? The AU? :s

It depends how quick I can get a court hearing! We acn apply for one on the 12th of this month so hopefully I can get in right away 
If I do get it back I will be bringing the AU as I dont think the Celica will be ready by then

its two days after xmas, most people will be away on xmas holidays with family..personally i am! I still think we should stick to the first supposed date..2nd week in janurary..11th is a sunday.

i agree with V8_MA61 - there would be too many cops about during xmas/new year break plus the road will be full of out-of-towners.
by the 2nd week only tourists in for a long summer holiday stay will be around (except on the pac highway). Except for end-of-school-holiday traffic, it should be a better w'end.
sorry if this puts out the toymoders visiting from down south ...

I use to live in brissy & should(if everything goes ok) be moving back up there end of june next year.

well if Shane does flop his member out to impress the magistrate then it's a short cruise to any of the SEQ correction centres...
but there seemed to be a few people liking this:
start Mt Cootha
head to Samford via The Gap, Keperra, Ferny Grove, etc
stay on <22> and head to Dayboro
climb Mt Mee (lots of twisty corners and sweepers!)
stop after Mt Mee village for a break
up to D'Aguilar & Woodford
turn right onto <53> and go to Maleny via Stanmore, Cedarton
(road from there to Maleney is sealed and good - map out of date?)
stop for lunch outside of Maleny (is full of yuppies on days-off)
go down range to Landsborough
then over to Caloundra (or to Mooloolaba)
or head bank down old highway to Brisbane
(via Beewah, Beerburrum, Cabulture, Morayfield, etc)
i'll try to get a better map of the drive up sometime soon. we also need to work out exactly where to stop at Maleney and also on the way up? and the return trip will be a bit dull so there might be opportunity to gate-crash bassaholic55's place at the sunshine coast if he's near Caloundra or Mooloolaba?

Ok so as we can work out numbers and who is definately going i've got a list of all the people that have expressed interest through out this thread. The people that have agreed on the 10th being a good date for them and are pretty certain that they would definately be coming i will bold. I am very unlikely to make the cruise,because I don't have a license or car or $'s to get to & from Qld as of yet.But we'll see what happens.
Also,if people want all Qld'ers/brissy people to go on this cruise,try this ===>Go "trawling" through all the posts in the Qld section & cut & paste the names of people who have posted into a blank notepad document & then e-mail/yahoo/icq/aol/jabber(& pm thru here) all of those people.
That's how I got such a huge list of people for a Toymods SA.It was 1/2 successfull,but it sorta worked.
Good luck with this cruise & I'll keep people updated as to whether I can make or not & & I'll keep checking this thread.
