I'm having a similar problem at the moment. Auto parts stores like Repco and Sprint and all thoughs places are completely useless, like hardware stores. Giving me the absolute f'ing shits, it's small things like this added up over time that make me want to sell the f'ing thing. So much money wasted for shit that doesn't work.
I have the cable, it is fine from the pedal (as it has a loop on he end so that it can't slide through the hole, but i'm not sure how long that will last until it snaps), but trying to anchor it to the throttle is f'ing impossible.
This is for a 1JZ.

there's always the option of a custom cable for about $100...
grab some sheet steel, make pedal, bolt to floor alter carby/TB so you have the right travel.... (ie make pedal first, measure cable travel, and adjust the throttle actuator to suit)

yeah i've got a custom cable but the pedal doesnt have enough travel to open the throtal fully and cause of me jumping on the thing as hard as i can its bent and doesnt do sfa now
I have granny's over taking me and giving me evils
what has the world come to.
im going to find a pedal that has heaps how would u saymovement (ie when you put your foot to the floor there lots to step into)
go to a performace shop and see if they can make something up
i had to get a custom braket made up for the cable-throtal bit
and im not to sure but usuallits a little nob that the cable pops on to
just a thought

well, in that case if you make the radius of the throttle bit on the carby/TB smaller, you will have more throttle throw for the same pedal throw?
i had the opposite problem on my car. the weber i put on had a 25mm throttle thingy, whereas the original one was 40mm long. this gave shit pedal feel and made the pedal quite hard..
i welded up an old one to fit the weber to give it 40mm radius and it's now golden...
unless of course you have more space for pedal travel.. (i don't as i bearly have enough space for feet in the KE15 )
i reckon get the pedal feeling right, in terms of positioning and amount of throw, and then modify the throttle bit to match the pedal throw...
zat help a bit?

I had a similar problem in my Ra28, Used an ra65 acc. pedal setup with had more travel and made up a little subframe for it to bolt to the floor. Hope this helps.

I used a RA40 peddle in my RA28. Bolted straight in and actually gave too much travel. Ended up with a sore ankle as when cruising foot was pointing straight up.
Just recently got the motivation to pull it back out and made some adjustments with a vice and hammer.. Much better now
Might bolt into the MKII .. Worth a try
