ECU pin outs Wed, 31 July 2002 02:56 Go to next message
Can someone please confirm that the "Battery" pin on the attached pic is in the correct place, and it is a Black & yellow wire comming from the ECU plug. Soarer JZZ30 loom/ECU
The reason I ask is because I can't seem to find the other end in any of the plugs I have leftover (checking with the multimeter). Or does someone know were to find the power input to the loom?
Thanks
Glenn

Sorry if the pic doesn't come up here is the link http://www.geocities.com/ggclhm1/ecupinouts.jpg
Hopefully that works.

Anyway had another session with the multimeter last night and found some funny things (I think they're a bit weird), Are the findings usual.

The GROUND (near the battery in the pic) goes to one of the injector earths the other GROUND goes to the Map Sensor plug (that seems weird!)??
The O2 SENSOR is the terminal to the left of the A/T spd2 -ve.
I couldn't find where the RPM2 and SPEED terminal go.

Bloody wiring!!

Well that link didn't work either!! Am I just monkeying it up or is Geoshities not a very good place to link things to??

Glenn

Sorry Glenn,I can't help with electrical advice.
However,I can offer some assistance to your bank balance if you were interested in copying your engine mounts for me,as I'm looking to do the same conversion as you.
With regard to ECU pinouts,do you mean "battery" as in the 'power' feed to the ECU?I have a few diagrams.

Glenn

Yes, leave the www out and I can see the diagram.

I have 4 plug and 5 plug wiring diagrams for the 1JZ-GTE. It appears that the JZZ has a different version again. If my diagrams are any help I can send them.
