MA70 speedo dial (aftermarket or is it stock?)

hey all
Iv just bought a mint 89` MA71. My question is, is that the speedo display goes up to 280km (not digital dash type one) all the other ma70's iv seen only go up t 180km.
is it an aftermarket display or is that standard?

u just got urs from japan from supra man didnt u. maybe its because its an import. i think mine (non-turbo) goes up to 240
|

yes, iv been wanting to sell it for ages but everyone seems to think 4.5/5k is to much! pfft

I own an Australian delivered MA70 with the standard speedo and it goes upto 280 to...

Yes, 280km/h is an Australian speedo.
You will find that most Jap imports are artificially limited to 180km/h and therefore the speedos only go that far.

uh huh, sweet, i thought it woulda been around the other, us poor ozzies getting the dodgy 180 limiter.
