The dreaded all nighter Tue, 02 December 2003 03:01 Go to next message
Sunday night I went to bed at about 3am and got up at 8 to go to work, so I was pretty wrecked, plus years of accumulated sleep dep ofc Smile, but last night I did an allnighter finishing someone elses assignment Rolling Eyes Just finished it at 7:30 am, had a shower in a can, chucked on new shirt and jumped on the train to work. No driving for obvious reasons Smile

I feel better now then I did when I was working at home, I swear I was starting to see stationary objects move in my peripheral vision... Razz

Whats the longest you've been awake? Mate of mine stayed up for three days straight playing a mud at one stage. That's really sad Smile

I think I stayed up for 2 days once. About 40 hours. I wasn't working tho, I was partying. So respect to Soarer. Smile

And then I slept for about 10 hours, got up, ate, went back to bed for 10 hours. Laughing

longest straight was only 65 hours

but in the week before my thesis was due, I was averaging 1-2 hours of sleep a night.

when the sun came up, I caught an hours sleep, back to work, then sometimes a nap in the afternoon for an hour

after that...u're screwed for days with hours of unaccountable dazes due to sleep deprivation...

Hehehe...I don't go even 24 hours without some kinda sleep...has to be at least a minimum of half hour sleep...

longest i have done without taking anything to try and stay awake was about 40 hours, longest with would be about 3 days. Longest shift i ever did was 13 hours in a pizza joint with out meal breaks, this was in the middle of summer, i only stopped because i was about to pass out.
