Christmas Dinner

Toymods will be having a Christmas dinner at Genghis Khan Mongolian BBQ Restaurant in Chatswood. The food is all you can eat Mongolian BBQ, this is a selection of very finely sliced meats and vegitables with a large range of sauces to cook them with, with or without entree and coffee depending on price.

The important info:

Date: Saturday 6th of December
Time: 6:30 PM so we have plenty of time to go out afterwards
Location: 77 Archer St Chatswood NSW 2067
Who's invited: All "friends of Toymods", memebers/non-members partners etc.
Cost: $20-$30 depending if you want entree's
Deposit: A deposit of $10 per person should be paid at the next Toymods meeting on the 17th of November.

From all reports last years Christmas event was great and there's no way I'll be missing out on another one.

Oooh yeah, Toymods Christmas Party, THE social event of the year! Smile

I'll be there with bells on, which should suit the Christmas theme. Rolling Eyes I've been to the last 2, & they were great fun, it's a much better environment than cruises etc. to get to know people.
Plus it's a bit closer to my home territory this year, so I'll definitely be ditching the car. Wink Very Happy

Yay for all you can eat!!

Anyone who knows me will probably know i'm not too much of a fan of the food, but I wouldn't miss it. Smile

One question. Is this one of those places where you get a lttle grille in the centre of your table and cook your own food? If so, I'd recommend it to everyone.. Lot's of fun! Smile

Nah, this is one where you get a bowl, get all your food in it and then pass it thru the window to the chef... The you recieve it through the next window and its rady to eat Smile Smile Smile ...

JUST A POINTER TO EVERYONE Shocked Shocked Shocked ...
Pack your bowls as good as possible cause the food shrinks when it's cooked...
The first time I was there, I filled my bowl, got it cooked and it came back 1/2 empty... I got raughted Mad Mad Mad ...

dude! you go up again, and again, and again, and again, and did I say again? and then you feel sick... and then you have to adjust your steering wheel and you lose every race at the lights on the way home because your power-to-weight ratio is stuffed from too much mongolian lamb Smile

Well this is definately one social event on the Toymods Calender that I definately won't be missing.....

It has been a while since I have been to an event due to circumstances beyond my control, but i will DEFINATELY be at this one.

I look forward to seeing some of the old faces and meeting some new faces.

I think as the FIRST female member of Toymods I should get a special seat.......as long as it is not near the President, (ha ha - love ya Rod, ).

Hugs.....

Reminder
Don't forget guys, deposit on Monday night at the meeting.

If you can't get to the meeting for some reason please email me and we can work something out josh@toymods.org.au.

The deposits and a good estimate of numbers are needed because with this being in December we need to put down a substantial deposit for the club an indication of numbers so that we can reserve the seats.

This should be a great time for socialising and letting your hair down with a good bunch of guys.

I need to know numbers for the Christmas party.

We have 13 people who have paid deposits after this weeks Toymods meeting. I will be going to pay a deposit tonight to make sure we have a table to sit at but I really need to know ASAP how many people are actually coming along.

Please if you are coming to the Christmas party and haven't discussed it with me or paid a deposit send me an email to let me know what is happening josh@toymods.org.au.

Thanks Guys.

Well according to whereis.com it should take "Total travel distance: 26.76 km, Estimated travel time: 37 Mins" from the restaraunt to Hurstville City centre.

According to me; 1 certain 2.5TT lounge chair will do it in somewhere a lot quicker than the program in whereis.com Smile
I reckon that pimp1j should do the trip, and ring us and tell us what time it took Laughing me thinks low 30's are possible.
