I'm pretty sure this is an RA23? (happy to be corrected) 
I have no idea who owns it - or where its from--
I think the pics where taken from a sydney motorshow?
anyone have any details on this beasty?

there was a convertable ta22 for sale on carsales.com.au a few months back, the guy wanted $3500 for it if i remember right

I thought it looked pretty wild myself -

Personally I think that car looks insane!
I'd do it to my Ra23 but then I like how its shape now 
I think it woulda cost a fair bit to do that way - I just wish I had a pic of the engine or some info on the thing other than its a Sydney car

Here's all the other pics I found on the net of this beast of a celica
I really wish I had some more info on it - because *with all the rust in my roof* I'd consider doing this to mine as well

yeah not a bad machine, for all those that didnt know the ra23 was available in softtop, so this is probably not a custom job, i nearly bought one myself
