MA61 adjustable rear camber Thu, 18 December 2003 00:01 Go to next message
Hi all,

I thought some of you might be interested to know that Paul Pyyvaara in conjunction with RallyTorque Motorsport has completed development of an MA61 rear crossmember which allows camber adjustment on the rear wheels. This should be especially useful for those of us who have lowered suspension and thus way too much rear camber!

Pics can be found on Paul's web site:
http://www.onthenet.com.au/~paulp/supra/

A quote from the man himself:
Quote:

The only thing we ask is that if anyone in SEQLD wants this done they go to RallyTorque and not another engineering shop who copies from the net. We can ask but not police of course .... but that is why there are no instructions or measurements. Wink For DIY folks it should not be too hard to work out and I am not fussed about that.

So if you have a chat to RallyTorque you can have your very own adjustable camber crossmember. Estimated cost is $290 with customer supplied crossmember, not fitted.

Exactly what I had pictured - slotting with eccentric camber bolts. Sweet.

Hiya Norbs,

Looks sweet. As for being almost as far away from NEQLD as you can get (except for Perth guys), can you 'purchase' the required parts as well as somemeasurements from Rally Torque to at least offer them the support for the work they did with Paul ?

What is the difference in the supports ? New ones, or did they just slot the mounts and brace the mounts (to enable the camber/offset bolt to work) ?

Look forward to your trial Norbs

Cheers

Michael B

Very nice!

Just as well I have a spare crossmember sitting in my shed..

And I'm with Michael, being able to purchase the brackets and bolts etc would be a good option for those nowhere near SE QLD.
