Where to get Intake Piping...?

I spent half a day searching for intake piping in various hardware places and auto shops, with no avail (I did find an alloy intake pipe for a simota air filter for $340!!! at auto1).
I want to pipe my pod filter 45 degrees from my intake manifold (4age 86) to a sectioned off compartment behind the head light. Where abouts could I get some sort of ducting to do this with? Or is there a better alternative?
Thanks

tey to get a pic of ur engine bay and air filter, wat i would do is fine 2 peices of tublar stainless steel in a larger size than you need, then vut and weld as needed, if you dont have access to a welder go to a metal engineering place, have a look around, this kind of work shouldnt cost anything more than $40

measure the size u need, draw a diagram to help
take to a welder engineer, metal manufactures, ask for quotes

I took an old throttle body along to pick & payless & walked around sizing up different pipes. I eventually found a nice rubber 45 degree bend on a camira, which did the job perfectly.
If you don't have an old throttle body, just the measurements would do.
Here's a pic of mine:
Pretty good for $10.

Nice job Bigworm! That looks great.
The intake pipe off 3.8L Commonwhores can also be used for this type of purpose. It has a separate rubber felx joint for attachment to the intake.
