The car is pretty light (approx 900kg) so it goes pretty well, extractors, twin carbies etc.It was well built by the previous owner.http://forums.toymods.org.au/index.php?t=getfile&id=2756http://forums.toymods.org.au/index.php?t=getfile&id=2757

That would probably be because the age of the car determines whether it needs to meet certain ADRs. This is the same with many components eg. Emmissions, window tinting, seatbelts etc..

I knew someone would try and say that because the car is pre-emissions then it passes engineering much easier.

but that is not the case, the transplanted engine still has to retain all emission gear that it originally had.

cheers

What ever you think may or may not be the case,
this car is FULLY engineered.
I know the owner and this is a top car. He would not state it is all legit if it wasn't.
