G,day I'm after some advice my mums RT104 corona is in need of some new life under the bonnet, the 18r-c has over 300,000 click's without the head having been off and the compression shows it. I was thinking along the lines of a re bore new rings and a valve grind, is this a good idea price wise and who in Sydney's west would do the work. The other problem is the car is in constant use meaning i need a spare engine, were do i find one and what do they go for. Is there a cheaper more common later model engine that would slip straight in? HELP. Any advice would be great.
