1990 GSR VS 1988 COROLLA SX

Saturday night going for the usual saturday nite smoke and cruise....... i was in my GSR 1990 model FWD non turbo with about 4 boys in my car and about 4 boys in my mates SX... cruising on parramatta rd my mate and i pull up at a set of lights he gives me the all clear and we wait for the red light to turn green......... GREEN HITS 1st gear were together 2nd he pulls away just a bit and he hits 3rd by this time i just hit the end of 2nd and changing to 3rd to my suprise i pull away in front of him and stay in front....... GSR WINS......... i dont like the gsr much there not my cup of tea but damn it won

Being a Mitsubishi car... and this being a toyota forum hahaha.
Don't mind me lol just having a bit of fun lol....
Are all GSR all wheel drive turbo??
If they are, no wonders u beat him LOL!!!

No mate no its a FWD Non turbo........ oh and just to make sure of things we raced again tonight and i beat him... i also raced a mates exa and for some reason he beat me twice now im thinking of swapping my excel for his exa

exa = most hated car on these forums.
Dont do it dude. Get a st162. Much quicker. My bro's eats exa's for breakfast every time.

And i used to like the older GSR's better then the newer EVO's  .
What size engine do they have? betwwen 1.6 and 2.0 or something?

They're a 1.6L twincam ~ 90kw roughly.
Quite nice looking in the hatch (IMO)

difference between 1990 Lancer GSR and non GSR
- Carby motor comes in the non GSR
- 1.6L DOHC motor in the GSR
- Bodykit on the GSR incl. Alloy wheels on the GSR
- Interior is completely different on the GSR (More sportier)
In my opinion i believe Lancers are gay every single one of them from when they were made till now i hate this car and only use it as a get around
