Oh maan, these are my ideal rims! 16x7.5! I spent that amount just on tyres last year. I like the look of them on Narks, but Nark's is an RA60 (now GA60) with 17x6.5s.
If I can find a buyer for my rims I may be interested - shipping from Melb to Hobart can't be that bad. Hoon has 1st dibs of course.
The stud pattern mod concerns me a little - please tell me more. And exactly how light are they?

Stefan - Yes Narks are an inch larger in diameter. I haven't weighed the rims but I have compared them to another set of Performance FX-5 16x7 rims with tyres. The Remotecs are noticably lighter to carry than the FX-5's, like 2/3rds the weight. Which is impressive given the style of rim and the extra 1/2 inch width.
Hoon - Yes the starion has the same pattern. I have seen a few guys with the starion rims on their AE86's. And you have mail
The unused holes have been filled with an alloy filler and redrilled where required. I had them checked by a reputable wheel specialist in Canberra (The Wheel Factory) when I first got them and they said they were fine. I originally wanted to get some "spacers" welded to the rims to run on the sprinter but for the money I could have almost bought new rims.

Thanks. The pic that shows the redrilled holes (remotec1)... everything looks really off-centre compared to the circle in the middle of the star - is that just the photo?
Are they hub centric or lug centric?

Thanks. I hate lugcentric wheels and can't stand wheel vibration on the highway (not fun).
I just reread the thread: +30 offset is fwd, isn't it? The Supra 14x7"s I have now are +8...

Stefan - Yes these are lug centric. However I never had vibration when I ran these rims (with spacers). Ever. Maybe it depends on the rim quality or something.
+30 offset is the boundary between FWD and RWD. For example, Skylines use a 15x6 +25 offset. These rims would be ideal. The 15x6 Cressida rim is +20 so these would also be a fit. The centre line would definitely be different in a Celica but they still should fit without spacers.

any luck selling these rims?
I think +30 is just too crazy, but I still want to know the offset of Nark's rims for comparison

can someone clear this up.. is the HIGHER the offset, the deeper the "dish"?? I know for a fact that my car has a pretty rare offset, but id like some rims that fill out my rear guards a bit more.

The more negative, or closer to negative the more dish. So when you start going wider, you start wanting less offset (ie closer to zero, or negative to compensate).
Seeing as the stock MA61 is 7" and has +8 and these are 7.5" and +30, I figure that would make them stick out about 34.5mm more than the 14" x 7" stock mags...not saying they won't fit, just doing some maths ....
Cheers
Wilbo

Other way around, they'll stick inwards more by about 20mm

These wheels are still for sale. Make a reasonable offer and they are yours.
Thanks,
